Monica Denny, O.D. is an Optometrist and Contact Lens Specialist at Eye Care Center of Lake County with offices in Gurnee, Vernon Hills and Lake Villa Illinois. Dr. Denny received a Master of Science in Neurobiology and Physiology from Northwestern University and her Doctorate of Optometry Degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago in 2007. She then joined the Eye Care Center in 2007.
During her clinical education Dr. Denny received advanced training and experience in diagnosis and management of Ocular Disease, fitting all types of contact lenses including toric contact lens for astigmatism and bifocal contact lenses, pediatric eye examinations and Low Vision rehabilitation.
Dr. Denny sees many types of eye care patients including those in need of general eye examinations, contact lens fittings, contact lens problems, pre and post operative care of LASIK Surgery patients, pre and post operative care of Cataract Surgery patients, diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy, diagnosis of macular degeneration (ARMD) and the diagnosis and management of glaucoma
Dr. Denny also speaks fluent Polish.
